Reason: .

All members of the league are subject to the following conduct guidelines.

Members of the league are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner in all league-related forums, game rooms, and chat services, including TeamSpeak and Discord. The following are forbidden:

  • Don't be an asshat
  • Relentlessly insulting, demeaning or berating any member of the league for any reason. If you disagree with something someone says, discuss the facts of that matter at hand. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. Judgments on what is acceptable will be made by league staff.
  • Abuse/insults directed towards staff will not be tolerated under ANY circumstances. The staff are volunteers, but they did not volunteer to take your abuse. If you disagree with a decision by a staff member or members, or a staff members behavior, we encourage you to discuss it civilly and respectfully. No one is perfect and we welcome open discussions and opposing viewpoints about decisions made that affect the league. Present your opinions in an organized matter and have a discussion, not paragraphs of insults. Again, dont be an asshat.
  • Trouble-making. Starting threads or discussions for the sole purpose of stirring up waves/shitstorms is prohibited. It's one thing to shitpost, it's another to do so in a matter to constantly make more work for staff.
  • Arguments and disruptions in a league game room will not be tolerated. If you have a dispute about something that happened in a league game there is a dispute process that can be found in the Rulebook. Do not argue your case in the room as it is not the place for it. Disrespect aimed at a game officials (when they are provided) will also not be tolerated and may result in your removal from the room and suspension from the league.
  • Harassment of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, e-stalking, posting anyone's personal information without their consent and threatening people.
  • Spamming. This includes, but is not limited to, posting links to other competing websites or chat services, posting identical or nearly identical messages or topics multiple times or in concert with other users, recreating a topic or message that has been locked/deleted by staff, reopening a thread locked by staff, complaining about a thread locked/deleted by staff, or posting nonsensical or otherwise difficult to read messages. Judgments on what is considered spamming will be made by league staff.
  • Posting offensive material or links to offensive material. We are not a G rated site, but please use some common sense.
  • Posting "call out" threads and filling them with nothing but insults will be ignored and no information will be given. All posts of this nature are prohibited and may result in loss of posting privileges
  • It is at the discretion of league staff what information to release and what is best kept private for all matters of league discipline.
DDOS Policy
  • SPHB has a zero tolerance policy towards DDOSing
  • All those found guilty of DDOSing or aiding those who DDOS will be PERMANENTLY BANNED from SPHB.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, anyone found guilty of DDOSing or aiding those who DDOS (e.g. providing IPs, names, room info, etc.) against any person or website.
  • The league reserve the right to treat threats to DDOS the same as actually carrying out the act. Simply put, don't do it.
  • DDOSing is an illegal activity and your IP will be reported to your ISP and, if necessary, the appropriate authorities.

All violations of this policy(with the exception of the DDOS Policy) will be reviewed by the League staff and final punishments will be at their discretion. Members who cannot abide by these rules will be punished. Violations of this policy may result in being muted on the forums and other chat services and/or being suspended or banned from the league. Access to other chat services, including Discord, Teamspeak, and Arrowchat may also be restricted at the discretion of the admins.

Punishments for violations of these rules are usually between the League staff and the member who violated the rules. Posting to request information about or to challenge/discuss disciplinary measures is acceptable provided it is done in a CALM AND CIVIL MANNER. Disciplinary measures are detailed in the ban/suspension threads when they are posted. Members should not attempt to advocate for any other member via "Free ____" threads, or constant PMs and posts of messages on behalf of a banned, suspended, muted, or moderated player. Doing so WILL be considered a violation of this conduct policy, and you will be subject to all appropriate punishments listed herein.

This policy is subject to change at any time at the discretion of the League staff. Players are expected to be aware of the Player Conduct Policy at all times. While we will make announcements regarding major changes to the Conduct Policy, minor changes may not be announced, and therefore, we recommend reviewing the Conduct Policy at least once per week.
